SM Entertainment has something big in store for Chanyeol and his fans. The label recently announced the EXO member will be working together with Asian-American group Far East Movement for a release through "SM Nation."
Fans won't have to wait any longer as the said collaboration will be launched in October. "Chanyeol recently participated in a rap feature for Far East Movement's new song. It will be released through "SM Nation" in October," the label announced as per Allkpop.
Far East Movement is known for their single titled "Like A G6," which featured pop-rap duo The Cataracs alongside singer Dev. The song was a hit in 2010 topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart and iTunes.
The hip hop-EDM group was also popular for their songs "Rocketeer," "Live My Life" and "Turn Up The Love." Aside from that, their song "Round and Round" was an official soundtrack of Vin Diesel starrer "Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" film.
Meanwhile, Chanyeol is the main rapper of EXO and its sub-unit EXO-K. The 23-year-old artist was the last EXO member to be introduced to the public in February 2012. Aside from performing with the group, Chanyeol also made his way to the big screen in 2015 for "Salut d'Amour" film with Moon Ga Young.
Chanyeol and the rest of EXO recently made their comeback with the release of their new album called "LOTTO" with a carrier single of the same title. The new album is repackaged version of "Ex'Act" album.
On Aug. 18, EXO dropped the official music video of "LOTTO," which showcased the group's excellent choreography and dynamism. However, EXO revealed they wanted to show the different side of them through this single, Soompi noted.
Korean and Chinese versions of "LOTTO" music video were uploaded simultaneously with over 27 million and 2 million views respectively.
