Two more artists have been confirmed to take part in the upcoming drama with a tentative title "The Universe's Star," joining EXO member Suho. The MBC drama will be produced by Kim Ji Hyun who wrote and directed "Splash Splash Love" last year.
According to Soompi, the story of "The Universe's Star" revolves around the life of a teenage female student who later turned into a grim reaper after her death. Reports suggest that Ji Woo will take the role of the grim reaper who will try to save her the life of her idol.
On the other hand, Suho is rumored to play as the idol, while Shin Hyun Soon plays as a firefighter who is troubled by an incident from the past. The upcoming "The Universe's Star" is said to be one of three dramas which will be featured on MBC's nine-episode season drama.
Suho, Ji and Shin will share the screen for the three-episode "The Universe's Star," which will start filming this month. In August, SM Entertainment confirmed Suho's role for the drama special, Allkpop reported.
EXO and his co-members are currently working their individual projects after the release of a repackaged album titled "LOTTO." While Suho continues with his acting career in "The Universe's Star," his band mate Lay is reported to make his debut as a solo artist.
Whereas EXO's Chanyeol is said to collaborate with Asian-American group Far East Movement for a release in October through "SM Nation" and D.O. is set to star in an upcoming drama directed by Lee Byung Hun.
