Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and director Kabir Khan will team up again for a movie based on India's 1983 cricket world cup victory.
The 50-year-old "Sultan" actor and Kabir have worked together on two superhit movies "Ek Tha Tiger" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan." The latest buzz is that the actor-director duo is all set to team up for the fourth time for movie, which is to be produced by Khan's brother in law Atul Agnihotri. The pair is currently shooting for their third movie together "Tubelight" in popular Indian hill station Manali, Firstpost reported. Chinese actress Zhu Zhu is making her Bollywood debut with "Tubelight" movie, which is based on 1962 India China war.
"Salman has immense faith in Kabir as a filmmaker and after two blockbuster hits in Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the comfort level has only grown stronger with underproduction Tubelight," a source said, Daily News and Analysis newspaper reported. "And when Alvira ( Salman's sister) and Atul Agnihotri were looking out for a director to helm their next project, Salman suggested Kabir's name. He has become like a family member to the Khans."
The "Dabangg" actor, who is gearing up for next season of controversial celebrity reality show Bigg Boss, will soon start shooting for third installment of "Dabangg" franchise next year. He is also teaming up with his former girlfriend and actress Katrina Kaif for "Tiger Zinda Hai" movie, which is a sequel of their 2012 super-hit movie "Ek Tha Tiger."
