"Naruto Shippuden" is soon coming to an end as it recently featured one of the greatest battles in its long storyline: Naruto against Sasuke. As one of the greatest anime series is coming to an end, the final episodes should also feature the closure fans come to expect not only from Sasuke and Naruto but also from everyone in Konoha.
According to Blasting News, the episode 478 of "Naruto Shippuden" is titled "The Seal of Reconciliation" and the episode title suggests that the story will focus on the reconciliation from the main characters of the anime series. As Sasuke and Naruto mend their friendship, the remaining chapters will be a type of epilogue which should chronicle the lives of the characters after the war.
But the story of "Naruto Shippuden" is not only about Naruto and Sasuke. While the final episodes will feature a lot of flashbacks and updates, the story will also continue as it will feature the lives of popular characters in the story.
According to Bitbag, stories of Gaara, Shikamaru, Kakashi and other main characters of the anime will be told in detail. The novel series "Naruto Hiden" will be used as the source material for the anime adaptation although it is unclear if the manga is part of the final chapters of the anime or an OVA (Original Video Animation).
"Naruto Shippuden" started airing in 2007 and it chronicles the story of Naruto who left the village with his teacher Jiraiya to improve his fighting skills when he faces Sasuke. The anime series is a follow-up of the anime series "Naruto" featuring the life of Naruto as young ninja in Konoha who dreams of becoming the Hokage. The anime series is an adaptation of the manga with the same name written by Masashi Kishimoto.
Although there is no definitive date and announcement on the final episodes of "Naruto Shippuden," fans are already preparing for the end as the fight between the two characters are finally over. There could be an OVA which will serve as an epilogue to properly end the series but for now, the series continues with episode 478 set to air on Oct. 6.
