Stephen Curry's brother Seth shows his amazing skills to score from behind the arc. In the Dallas Mavericks first pre-season game against New Orleans Hornets, he made 20 points to bring Mavericks win 95-88.
The younger brother of the renown Stephen Curry made an impressive debut with Dallas Mavericks, as reported by CBS Sports. He scored 5/6 in 3-point shooting and made a 7-of-13 in field goals, and he made 17 of his total 20 points in the third quarter.
Mavericks acquired Curry as a free agent in July, after he opted-out from Sacramento Kings at the beginning of 2016-17 season. In the game against the Hornets, Curry looks very much like his brother Stephen in firing the shot and he made a tremendous contribution to help Mavericks winning the game. Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle praised his aggression and adaptation to the team.
He can get it going quick. I love his aggression, and he's shown he can play both guard positions," Carlisle said as quoted by SLAM Magazine. "Lot of positives, and he's gearing up his posture and disposition on defense."
In his first year of professional career, Curry went undrafted in 2013 NBA Draft. Afterward he signed the non-guaranteed contract with the Golden State Warriors. But the Warriors waived him after six games and he went to play in the NBA Development League with Santa Cruz Warriors.
The 6'2" shooting guard played in the NBA D-League with Santa Cruz Warriors as an affiliate player for 2013-14 season. During his tenure in Santa Cruz Warriors, he played alongside point guard Mychel Thompson. Meanwhile Curry's elder brother played with the elder brother of his tandem Klay Thompson in Golden State Warriors.
Sacramento Kings signed him on a a two-year contract with a $2 million guaranteed deal for 2015-16 season. However, after one season, he declined his $1 million player option to become restricted free agent.
