Chris Bosh slams Miami Heat president Pat Riley's statement that announced the end of his career. Bosh said he is note done yet and this begins a new chapter of media war betwen him and the Heat.
The former center of Miami Heat was furious with Riley's statement last week declaring the end of his career. He said in the UNINTERRUPTED.com as quoted by USA Today, that although his career in Miami is over, but there are 29 other teams in the NBA that do not share opinion with Miami Heat.
"One team does not make up the opinion of everything," Bosh said. "I didn't see my career in Miami ending like this."
Bosh who struggled with blood clots for the past two seasons was trying to make a comeback this season. He tried to find solution for his blood clots, including with blood thinner which whas introduced by one physician in Los Angeles. Miami Heat which was reluctant at first, finally giving him a chance to take physical exam.
However, Miami Heat medical team the evidence of blood clots in him after the physical exam. The doctors did not clear Bosh to play, and after failed physical exam, Riley sternly declared the end of Bosh's career in Miami Heat. Speaking to the press in his office at the American Airlines Arena, Riley said that even though Bosh still wanted to play, but Miami Heat decided to let him go and the team would not work toward his return.
Bosh was devastated with the decision, because he learned the decision through the media. He said there is no contact from Miami Heat management or a phone call to inform the result of his physical exam. But, he finally realized the reality and he must accept it.
The center who brought back-to-back championship for Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013 promises to look ahead and moves on. He will make a good thing of the situation.
