"Naruto Shippuden" episodes 479 and 480 will be the two final episodes of the beloved original. This is contrary to early reports that episode 478 will be the final episode since it will be the conclusion of the great battle between Naruto and Sasuke.
It is reported by Blasting News that the preview and information about the two episodes have been leaked.
Episode 479 will be titled "Uzumaki Naruto". Sources confirmed that this episode will be a sort of Sasuke's acknowledgement of Naruto as the winner. It will pave way for the realization of the latter's promise to do good and rebuild a better world, alongside Naruto.
The episode will also highlight Naruto's heroic deeds that saved the whole world from imminent destruction. Sasuke will also express regret from all the wrong he did to Sakura.
Meanwhile, episode 480 will be titled "Naruto and Hinata".
Sources confirmed that this last episode will only be just a filler as it will contain several events that have happened in the last movie "Naruto: The Last". But basing from the episode title, it can already be surmised that it will be about the marriage of Naruto and Hinata.
However, fans are speculating that this episode will open up a new story arc for the well-loved series; or a brand new Naruto-based anime. According to reports, this new anime will be about the adventures of Naruto's son as he aspires to make a mark in the ninja world.
According to Morning Ledger, episodes 479 and 480 will show Sasuke planning to leave Konoha to go on a journey and start anew. He makes amends to everyone he has ever crossed before leaving. Also, Kakashi will be the new Hokage.
It will be a happy ending for everybody when Naruto finally fulfills his mission of having all shinobi cooperate with each other.
Episode 479 will air on Oct. 13 while episode 480, the final episode, is slated for an Oct. 20 airing date.
