In a recent effort to get people to vote, the American singer and songwriter Katy Perry bared it all for a recent video clip named "Funny or Die," where she has urged people to vote in the upcoming general election. The parody video features Perry demonstrating why one should vote and how people can vote in the clothes of their choice as it really does not matter until they are voting.
The video gives a message in which Perry is seen telling the viewers that according to the US constitution, people can even vote in their pajamas or night dresses albeit naked. By releasing the video, Perry aims to encourage people to vote in the U.S.
It is helping spreading the awareness about the importance of the US general elections by stripping naked. It is needless to say that the video received huge attention, Telegraph reported.
According to Daily Mail, After the video, the pop icon Madonna also seemed to follow her footsteps as she posted a selfie on her Instagram page faceless and completely naked while urging her fans to vote in the upcoming elections. Not only that, the 58-year-old musician stumped on Hillary Clinton as her candidate of choice and asked people to vote for her on the big day.
In the league of nude voting series, the Hollywood actor Mark Ruffalo has also joined the league of Perry and Madonna to urge people to get out and vote. Madonna went a way ahead and shared a picture of her with Hillary Clinton with a caption that says, "Vote for Hillary."
The caption added that apparently Clinton is the best U.S. has got. The entertainment industry is making an effort to educate people about the elections and get them to vote in November, no matter whom they choose as their candidate, the Republican Donald Trump or Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Meanwhile, stripping naked is not new to Perry. She was recently on vacation with beau Orlando Bloom and as soon as his naked pictures released online, she came forward in his support by posing her bared cheek on her social media pages.
