The new "God of War" game caught the crowd by storm during the press conference at this year's Playstation press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, with its new setting, new look for Kratos, and more. After that event, however, Sony Santa Monica hasn't reveal much of the game, even skipping out on other events like  Gamescom, Tokyo Game Show and even the Playstation Meeting last month. Fans are now hoping that the studio will have more announcements at this coming Playstation Experience later this year.

However, more and more information has revealed in the official Twitter page that Director Cory Barlog might not reveal any more information on "God of War 4" anytime soon this year. When asked in a tweet about the game's release, Barlog said, "I don't know, the mountain of work we are under is massive, so we are taking things one day at a time."

Although, in spite of saying that, the "God of War" director expressed his desire to really attend the Playstation Experience later this year. It is really difficult to say for now, since they're wading through a lot of work that needs to be done.

According to Segment Next, it really looks like that Sony Santa Monica is really working their hardest to ensure the game is well-polished and complete as much as possible. To avoid too much pressure from time constraints, the studio hasn't revealed any release dates for "God of War 4" yet. Even a demo won't be released.

It's possible that the game's studio would want to avoid the same mistakes other Triple A titles did when they rushed for a release date, making them riddled with bugs and forcing to release patches.

Despite that they're not having demo released, Barlog mentioned that they're hoping to produce a developer's diary and some sneak peeks of the game sometime before the game's release. He added that the PS4 is sufficient enough to run the game, with PS4 Pro unnecessary to enjoy the entire experience.

The fourth installment in the "God of War" is initially due for a release on 2017.
