Scott M. Gimple says the next death is different from all the other shocking deaths that happened in the show while fans try to spoil it claiming that the teaser clips actually showed that Maggie Greene is the one marked for death.
Since AMC Studios has released the teaser clips for the next season of The Walking Dead, fans all over the world speculated over and again as to who would receive the fatal blow from Negan's beloved Lucille. Perhaps the studio released too many clips because a number of devoted fans have picked up the crumbs that Maggie is the unfortunate soul. If so, this would truly come as a terrible blow (literally) to all the diehard fans of the series as Lauren Cohan's character is one of the favorites.
Her death fits the two deaths promised by Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan) because she's heavily pregnant with Glenn's child. Moreover, the teasers have shown that Rick was splattered with blood on the right side of his face after a lifeless form falls beside him. Maggie was kneeling right side of Rick. Other clips can be zoomed in to show that the arm of the one who met the demise was wearing an engagement ring.
Other clues floating the Internet were when actress Lauren Cohan only filmed episodes one and five. Afterwards she posted an Instagram picture of herself in the beach while the other casts of the hit series worked hard on the set. Finally, during the New York Comic Con, Lauren Cohan delivered an emotional speech and was loosely interpreted as a goodbye, Metro reported.
Gimple of course hasn't confirmed this but said this particular death would be different from the other gruesome deaths the show has produced in a way that it is not somebody being attacked by a walker; nor is it random. He said it is purposeful. The death will not only come as a terrible loss but the characters will also lose their autonomy.
he show runner said, "They're powerless, they lose all of their power. They're moving into a whole new reality. And it's not the reality they want to live in but they have to," E! News reported.
