Emma Roberts' character Chanel is feeling a little down and a little blue in the recent episode of FOX's horror-comedy series "Scream Queens" second season. This is not because of Chad Radwell's (Glen Powell) shocking death as Chanel is way beyond that.
Chanel is a little blue, literally, because of some shoddy prescription from Doctor Murder Hand. Definitely not because Chad died, not even the fact that Chad left the entire Radwell fortune to Dean Munsch and the C.U.R.E. Institute.
Chad's death signified a change to the pattern of killings allegedly being carried by Green Meanie. Originally the Meanie was just killing patients of the C.U.R.E. Institute in what Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Zayday Williams (Keke Palmer) assumed retaliation for the 1986 murder of the killer's parents. The killings are about to turn more sinister now that the killer has started attacking other than those being cared for in the institute.
In fact, episode 4 saw the killer's attack of two main characters ---- Denise Hemphill (Niecey Nash) and Chanel No. 5 (Abigail Breslin). They are possibly killed, who knows. Denise Hemphill was punched by the killer and was electrocuted by a defibrillator, not once but thrice. It Denise is dead after this season then there could possibly be a reunion with her true love Chad Radwell in the afterlife.
On the other hand, Dean Munsch could be the winner for this episode as not only she inherited the entire Radwell fortune but it was also revealed that she has been sleeping with the hot Dr. Brock Holt (John Stamos). She not only got the money, she also got the man.
Chanel No. 5 was stabbed in the back, literally, by the killer. But this could not be the first that Chanel is stabbed in the back as she was all along being stabbed in the back by Chanel starting from the first season.
But all these killings and death could not stop Chanel holing the 2016 celebration of her world-renowned Chanel-O-Ween. The knowledge that Chad loves Denise more than her and that Dean Munsh stands to inherit everything, Chanel made it a mission to be nastier than the normal. This year, she kindly chose to send them all pieces of real dead bodies and extracted bodily fluids that she stole from the institute's morgue. Finally, Hester (Lea Michele) is seen running amok through the halls of the institute after convincing Denise to let her out of her Hannibal Lecter-like confinement for Halloween.
"Scream Queens" airs Tuesday 9PM on FOX.
