Activision's "Call of Duty Infinite Warfare" is nearing its eventual release as the beta has now been made available for everyone on the Xbox One. Originally, the studio required gamers to pre-order the game in order to play the beta, but now it has retracted its decision has been made open to all.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, the official "Call of Duty" Twitter page was able to announce: "The #IWBeta is NOW OPEN for all PS4 & Xbox One players! Download the Beta and play #InfiniteWarfare now through 10AM PT on Monday, Oct. 24. All #IWBeta players will also get this bonus Beta Calling Card in #InfiniteWarfare for participating."
With it opening to Xbox One gamers, the game would possibly gain more popularity now, especially making the beta available to anyone. This way Infinite Ward will be able to see how well the servers will be maintained.
Even the PS4 version of the game is already open beta as well by allowing players to head over to the PlayStation store and download the game.
Unfortunately, the PC version will not have any beta of kind for the PC owners. This would mean that they would have to wait for actual release of the full game on November to access it.
In earlier news, Motorsport was able to cover that Champion Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton will star in "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," along with other celebrities UFC champion Conor McGregor and "Game of Thrones" actor Kit Harrington. The Formula 1 racer didn't specify what role he'll be taking in the first-peron shooter game but it looks like he's going to be a pilot or an engineer of some sort.
The beta for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is available now in PSN and Xbox Live Store, at the size of 17.6GB on PS4 and 18.82GB on Xbox One.
