The latest episode of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” featured its new fiery and feisty superhero Ghost Rider Robbie Reyes. The team’s fearless leader met the new superhero face to face, for the first time and Agent Coulson asked Robbie “You’re not an Inhuman are you?”

“Why do you guys keep asking me that?” the Ghost Rider replied.

This episode has brought the Ghost Rider as part of a team, a first time actually, after two failed movie attempts. The episode started with Agent Coulson and Mack investigating undead scientists who have somewhat gained the ability to infect humans with a deadly and haunting virus. The only person who can give them the link as the origin of the undead is Reyes, the Ghost Rider.

Reyes has an uncle who is in jail who is the person who has a clue how these undead scientists were born. After a bit of chase, Coulson was able to extend a truce with the feisty hero.

At first, there was some tension between the rebel hero and the buttoned-up agents as to the methods to be employed with their mission. The agreement Robbie had with the agents to grill his uncle is the episode’s theme --- revenge.

It was revealed that Robbie is being hounded by people who has sought for revenge. Everywhere he goes, he is being confronted by people seeking vengeance, his uncle included. Because of this reason, he decided to team up with the agents to find an evil book called the Darkhold, also known as the Book of Sins.

On the other side, the Inhuman side of this episode centers on Daisy and Simmons’ quest to stop the villainous Watchdogs from hunting down every last mutant or metahuman, whatever they are called, in the world. Then Daisy and Jemma were able to track the Watchdogs’ hit list to James – the once Inhuman-obsessed firebug with personality to spare. But James is actually working with the dogs to purge the world of what he now views as an Inhuman scourge on humanity.

Robbie then arrived with the crew which led to a fight. Robbie turned into the Ghost Rider and dealt with James, wrapping a chain around him. Ghost Rider and James struggle until they both fall into the fireworks warehouse which led to explosions. Robbie Reyes dragged James out wrapped in a chain but still alive.

However, Coulson was able to get his hands with the Darkhold, a book that even Red Skull, Daniel Whitehall, and Nick Fury could not find. It is a powerful “book of sin” with dark spells and supposedly infinite knowledge. The team now needs to work together to keep it out of the wrong hands.
