Another milestone has been unlocked by BTS after their newly released "Blood, Sweat & Tears" crossed the 30 million mark on YouTube almost two weeks after it was uploaded.
According to Allkpop, "Blood, Sweat & Tears" MV was uploaded on Oct. 10 and reached 30 million views on Oct. 23 at around 8:00 pm, making it the fastest K-pop MV to cross the mark in just 13 days.
"Blood, Sweat & Tears" is under BTS' second studio album called "WINGS." A report from Billboard stated the newest album has been sitting on the Billboard 200 for two weeks already, making BTS the first K-pop idol to rank on the said music chart with the same album for more than a week.
"WINGS" currently ranks at number 106 from 26 on the Billboard 200. Aside from that, BTS' "Blood, Sweat & Tears" also made it to the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. The newest single is currently at number 68, basing the standing on sales data, streaming activity and radio airplay audience impression.
Prior to the official release of "WINGS," the album was made available for pre-order on Sept. 28. Some 500,000 orders were recorded in just a week, sweeping several Korean music charts.
Aside from that, BTS also topped on the iTunes album chart in more than 26 countries for their album "WINGS." Not only that, the album also made to the U.K. Official Albums Charts, another first among K-pop idols.
BTS released their first studio album "Dark & Wild" in 2014. Aside from their two Korean albums, the K-pop group also released a couple of Japanese studio albums, namely, "Wake Up" and "Youth" which were launched in 2014 and 2016 respectively.
