The first official trailer of Scandal Season 6 has finally arrived. Also, ABC has announced the official premiere date of the new season.
ABC on Thursday has released an explosive trailer of "Scandal" Season 6, while also letting viewers know that it will resume on Thursday, Jan. 19 at 9PM. On the 30-second clip, fans of the political series are offered a glimpse into the day of the presidential election and a scene that features a massive explosion. For Olivia and Fitz, the on and off again lovers are seen fighting over a yet to be known issue.
Following the trailer's release, it is now a burning question as to what caused that cabin to explode. Both Quinn and Huck are at the scene, so it is probably someone who they are both investigating. But if worst comes to worst, it can also be someone from their team. Anything can happen at this point, especially that politics is on full-gear in "Scandal" Season 6.
The footage also sees Olivia and Fitz going over something very serious that they are fighting about it. Whether it is about a matter of national security, a conspiracy, a rigged election, viewers have to wait and see. When these two characters are fighting, it is usually linked to a dark and heavy storyline.
As expected, fans of the political series were blown away after seeing the trailer. Most are excited to see Olivia and Fitz together back on screen as they go through this emotional warfare. Some are also wishing to see them reunited as a couple by the end of Season 6.
