Gadgets enthusiasts expecting the OnePlus 4 won't see a release date this year. Reportedly, the upcoming device is said to arrive in June.
According to rumors, OnePlus 4 release date came from a Weibo user who constantly posts an update on the next flagship device. Recently, OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei also noted in an interview that the company will only release one flagship device in a year so that they can focus on creating a "great phone."
Although its specs and features are purely from the rumor mill, the Chinese tech start-up will bring the next big thing in the smartphone industry, BGR reported.
The OnePlus 4 is expected to feature killer specs that might end the dominance of the iPhone 7 and its Plus variant. As per the rumor mill, the design and external build will be revamped as the OnePlus 3's received criticisms over its dull impression. As VR headsets have been the growing trend of smartphones these days, it will come in a VR friendly aesthetic.
Most importantly, its hardware department will boast the upcoming Snapdragon 830. The said chipset will be built on a 10nm process which can run the OnePlus 4 smoothly and delivers low battery consumption compared to the Snapdragon 820 and 821.
In addition, it will be paired with a higher RAM since its predecessor has already a 6GB of RAM. With the upgraded chipset and 4K display, gadgets enthusiasts also assume that it will have a whopping 8GB of RAM onboard along with an expanded memory of 128GB.
Camera-wise it will sport a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 sensor and added tweaks on its camera features.
The unconfirmed flagship device reportedly to hit store shelves running the latest Android 7.0 Nougat with enhancements from the OnePlus' own Oxygen OS, Ndtv reported.
OnePlus 4 release date may not be around the corner, but an early debut is likely to happen at CES 2017.
