Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is planning to direct a movie soon.
Now, one more Bollywood star is planning to become director. According to recent media reports, superstar Hrithik Roshan is having plans to turn director in near future. The "Bang Bang" actor's father and leading Bollywood director Rakesh Roshan has confirmed the reports and told an Indian newspaper that his son has interest in movie direction.
"Hrithik surely will direct a film, although I can't say when," he said, reported The Asian Age newspaper. "He has assisted me on several of my films before he was launched as a hero in 'Kaho Na... Pyar Hai'. So you could say he has been training for direction for a very long time."
The 42 year old "Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara" star, who was last seen in box office disaster "Mohenjo Daro," is currently busy with promotion of his next "Kaabil." The "Krishh" star will be seen playing role of a blind man in Sanjay Gupta's directorial movie.
Senior Roshan also praised Hrithik for his work in "Kaabil." "Kaabil will showcase how good an actor HR is. Just look at how many different characters he has portrayed in a short span of time," the father said, reported Bollywood Hungama entertainment news portal.
"Kaabil," which also stars "Vicky Donor" fame actress Yami Gautam in female lead opposite Roshan, is slated to release on January 26 next year. It will clash with Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan starrer gangster drama "Raees" at box office. Check out trailer of the movie here.
