"Minority Report" season 1 is rumored to have been cancelled by FOX.
According to TV Line, the weekly episodes of the show are not faring well in terms of audience viewership and ratings.
Back in December, the series aired its tenth episode for the season, but until now it is still unclear whether or not the show has been picked up for more episodes.
At that time, fans of the series couldn't help but express their sadness over the possibility of not seeing their favorite characters.
"I will miss this show. I am still hoping against hope though that somehow this show is resurrected even in the summer or another viewing platform. Yes, it fell short on a lot of levels but it had a lot of potential," one fan wrote.
Another fan added, "I am highly upset that this is going off the air. I absolutely loved the movie and the storyline of the series was progressive had it been given its proper time and advertising. Regardless, it is a show that made you think outside the box and it's being taken away. I'm tired of seeing good shows especially with Megan Good in them being scrapped when public percentage says they'd rather know what happens next."
The fan continued, "Considering that you guys are getting rid of the show, I feel more than obligated to stop watching this network and persuading others to do as well."
Meanwhile, if the series will be renewed for the rest of season 1, fans can expect to see more of Li Jun Li's character Akeera.
During the first half of the season, Akeera has been known as one of the most reliable colleagues of Vega and Dash (Stark Sands).
However, more information about the secondary character has not yet been revealed. With this, fans are hoping that more details about who Akeera is, as well as where she's from will be part of the second half of season 1 or even season 2.
Unfortunately, as of late, it is still unclear whether or not "Minority Report" will be renewed or cancelled by FOX.
