Sometimes, game developers get a kick out of designing their levels. That's why we have Easter Eggs in games. This one thing in particular to be discussed is an Easter Egg in the "Call of Duty" series, particularly one referring to the glitch in "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." With the release of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered," developers have taken upon themselves to pay tribute to the famous glitch by adding a little something to the game. What's this glitch you may all ask? Let's find out.
The glitch is known in the "Call of Duty" series especially for its first modern take to the shooter, in "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." The glitch happens when the players get to a certain point (under certain circumstances) where they slip out of the game map and into oblivion.
According to Kotaku, one Reddit user DaJeroen discovered that developer Raven Software paid tribute to this glitch by adding a "Caution Wet" sign over the area where this anomaly could happen. Fans of the franchise would immediately recognize the Easter Egg if they happen to come across it.
Based in an earlier report, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" was officially launched on Nov. 4 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It is only accessible if players purchased the premium versions of "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," which is at the price of $80. Activision has not mentioned any updates yet if "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" will be ever released independently--but the possibilities are good. The remastered campaign includes the game's singleplayer missions and multiplayer mode.
