Good news to all fans who have been waiting for the upcoming film "Hyung," as they won't have to wait any longer to watch the movie.
According to Allkpop, "Hyung," which stars D.O, Jo Jung Suk and Park Shin Hye, will be released earlier than its premiere date. A source affiliated with the film said the decision was made after receiving good reviews from the pre-release monitoring.
"Due to the great reaction to content revealed so far, high satisfaction from pre-release monitoring, and positive recommendations, the premiere date has been finalized for the 24th," the representative said.
Reports suggested "Hyung" was supposed to be released on Nov. 30. The upcoming comedy film revolves around the lives of Jo, who plays as Doo Sik, and his brother Doo Young played by D.O.
The two will live together after Doo Sik gets paroled from the cell. The sibling will have a hilarious journey together, considering their differences in terms of personality. While Park will play as the judo coach of Doo Young, who has no choice but to deal with him and his brother.
Although "Hyung" is a comedy film, D.O revealed Jo has a serious personality. "Jo Jung Suk is very serious and calm in real life, but he's funny when he acts. I want to resemble him in that way." He adds, "I want to study Jo Jung Suk's acting and be like him," he said as per Soompi.
On the other hand, Jo said he looks forward to seeing a more improved actor in D.O. Meanwhile, Park shared she is having fun while filming "Hyung," adding that there were times when she couldn't help but laugh and make mistakes on set.
