Coming back from a 3-1 deficit from the Golden State Warriors way back 2016 NBA Finals is the Cleveland Cavaliers, who set an NBA record last season. As LeBron James and his team of victors visited the White House last Thursday, the reigning NBA team heated the internet while they participated in the mannequin challenge - with First Lady Michelle Obama.

President Barrack Obama honored the champions on the South Lawn of the White House, acknowledging them for pulling through the triumph despite being behind for three games. He complimented each player in the team, but particularly highlighted the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP), LeBron James, calling him one of the greatest players of all time. Obama also characterized such generation of athletes who are using their manifestos to promote their advocacies, such as the fight against gun violence.

After a long tormenting pause from being NBA champions, the Cavaliers had finally put a stop to their scourge since 1964. As reported by CNN News, the outgoing president described the Cavs' victory as a representation of hope and change. ''The first team in history to dig themselves out of a hole like that,'' Obama said. ''The comeback was remarkable, and you learn about people when they're down.''

While these compliments all seem very momentous, the champions did not let pass the occasion to break the internet with the latest social media circus - the Mannequin Challenge. The Score reported how the players, together with the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS), froze in distinct poses in the Diplomatic Reception Room of the mansion. Mrs. Obama did a selfie pose with James, while it can be seen that the rest are pointing into different directions, chattering, and posing into their individual revelry.

The Cavaliers tweeted the video on their official account with the caption “Freezing our White House visit in time forever with FLOTUS”, using the hashtag #MannequinChallenge. The NBA champions also, in return for the honor, gave the president a number 16 jersey with his name printed on it. They would be the last team to visit the White House having Obama as the president.
