Actor Gabriel Luna's Ghost Rider/Robbie Reyes is finally in Marvel's Cinematic Universe. A recent interview pointed out that Luna wanted to become one of the "Midnight Sons."
It was actually Ghost Rider (as Daniel Ketch that time) himself that originally founded the "Midnight Sons," the defense against supernatural evils in the world. During that time, Ketch and Johnny Blaze (the other Ghost Rider) combatted the demon villain Lilith. The result, however, caused Daniel Ketch to die and Lilith to retreat and lick her wounds only to swear revenge later on.
"I think it'd be cool to see Blade, and The Punisher, and Strange and that whole 'Midnight Sons' kind of run," said Gabriel Luna to Comicbook.com. "And you have the 'Dark Avengers' - you've got all these teams that The Ghost Rider slides into... I love that idea, that potential."
It was rumored that whole concept of "Midnight Sons" intrigued Gabriel Luna since "Agents of SHIELD's" Ghost Rider/Robbie Reyes. This would be make fans would rave about this since old character Marvel Cinematic Universe character addition.
To back this up even more, reports say that the Marvel Cinematic Universe actually has something in store for Robbie Reyes. Fans actually loved his character and there was huge following after his debut. That being said, something would be made big for Ghost Rider/Robbie Reyes.
We will be seeing more of Gabriel Luna's character in the upcoming episodes and seasons. It would be possible that he could already join the "Midnight Sons" in later episodes. Until then, we will still find out.
