"Tekken 7" has already been released more than year ago in the arcades of Japan, but now fans are already excited that a new trailer has been released to mark the release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions coming early next year.

As Dualshockers mentioned, Bandai Namco decided to celebrate the Golden Joystick Awards by releasing the latest trailer for "Tekken 7", which showcases the cutscenes and gameplay.

However, what the developers have mentioned is that the game will come sometime "early 2017." While it is still quite unfortunate yet that the game does not have an exact release date, "early 2017" does not seem too far away.

In earlier news, in spite of "Tekken 7" being also released for the PC, project lead Katsuhiro Harada mentioned that while it is technically possible to play against other players from different platforms (cross-platform play), he intentionally stressed that it is NOT wise to do so.

Harada did reiterate that "first party company policies and potential security risks alongside the community perceived reputation of PC gamers being cheaters that is hindering the decision to allow cross platform play."

While not judging the entire PC community as cheaters, Harada is just taking precautionary steps to avoid foul play among gamers; especially that PC online competitive play has somewhat a reputation for hacking. He also added that not having the cross-platform play will also prevent "potential security risks" from other hacks and mods.

In terms of story, Harada mentioned that "Tekken 7" will be much darker than ever before and will serve as the conclusion of the Mishima clan struggle. "Street Fighter's" very own Akuma will appear in the "Tekken" storyline, not just as guest character but also playing a vital role in the story.
