Meanwhile, Miami continues to fall down the standings after losing three of their last four games. The team is currently third from the last place in the East with only the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers having worse records than them.
In their most recent game on Saturday night, the Heat were edged by the Memphis Grizzlies, 110-107, also at their home court of American Airlines Arena, the Miami Herald reported.
Dion Waiters led head coach Erik Spoelstra's squad with 28 points, five rebounds, and six assists, shooting 10-for-19 from the field.
Hassan Whiteside had a double-double of 15 points and 12 boards with one steal and two blocks while the rest of the starters, namely Josh Richardson, Derrick Williams, and Rodney McGruder all scored in double digits as well with 15, 13, and 11 points respectively.
Off the bench, Tyler Johnson and James Johnson chipped in 12 and 10 points while combining for eight boards and four assists.
