Salman Khan and Karisma Kapoor are all set to reunite on the silver screen and dazzle audiences with their on-screen chemistry 19 years after their film "Judwaa" opened in theaters.
There are several reports claiming that Kapoor will be making a cameo appearance alongside Khan in the upcoming sequel of the popular film, titled "Judwaa 2," according to Bollywood Hungama. The 1997 film, directed by David Dhawan, was a huge success at the box office and now, almost two decades later, the sequel is in development with Dhawan's son Varun Dhawan leading the cast.
Much like the original, Varun will play a double-role and romance Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in the upcoming film. Fernandez will play the role originally portrayed by Kapoor while Pannu will step into the shoes of Rambha.The actor officially announced the cast via his Twitter account earlier this month and since then fans are hopeful that the trio will recreate the magic created by Kapoor-Khan-Rambha in the original.

Although there has been no official confirmation that Kapoor will make an appearance in "Judwaa 2," the actress recently expressed her desire to be a part of the sequel. "I have heard that they are remaking 'Judwaa' and it's exciting. I love Varun as an actor and I am sure he will do a great job," Times of India quoted her as saying in a recent interview.
When asked if she would play a role in the film, Kapoor said, "David did mention it to me. So let's see. I would love to do it." Producer Sajid Nadiadwala also said that the film would be incomplete without an appearance by Khan or Kapoor, and with Khan already locked in for a cameo, it appears as though the original pair will be reuniting on screen, when "Judwaa 2" hits theaters on Sept. 29, 2017
