A Chinese retailer has revealed that the Apple of China will bring another budget phone from its Mi series. Reports claim that Xiaomi Mi 5c release date likely to take place on December 06. Along with the rumored launch, its price has been leaked too. It has been said that the upcoming device will cost half less than the premium device Xiaomi Mi 5.
According to GSM Arena, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will carry a cheap price tag of CNY 999 which translates to $150. Xiaomi's Mi series follow the variation of iPhone series phones- as Mi phones being the premium and Mic the lowest-end phone.
Dubbed as Apple of China, Xiaomi Mi 5c sports some iPhones aesthetics. Leaked details revealed that it will be available in Gold Rose color option. Specs-wise, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will be powered by an octa-core processor that could possibly MediaTek's Helio P20 and will be paired with 3GB of RAM along with 64GB of on board storage. It will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and MIUI 8 on top of it. Meanwhile, its camera department will employ a 12MP and an 8MP unit on the rear and front respectively, BGR reported.
With that being said, the upcoming budget phone sounds promising on paper. However, nothing much can be expected from this phone as it is categorized on the low-end device.
