With another major gaming event drawing near, reports say that "Metal Gear Solid" creator Hideo Kojima will attend the PlayStation Experience (PSX), which might give fans a chance to know more about his latest work, "Death Stranding."
It was actually announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment that Kojima will be speaking at the newly revealed panel about his new mysterious game, "Death Stranding." The panel will be scheduled on Saturday, at 1:00 PM Pacific Time. What's also worth noting is that some "special guests" will appear during the talk so everyone has got to be excited for that.
So far that has been the details on what to expect for PSX; fans will finally get to have something more solid about spiritual successor to the "Silent Hills" franchise, with Kojima Productions being its own independent studio away from Konami.
The game also isn't your run of the mill kind of game, especially with Kojima, who was known for creating complex stories in the "Metal Gear" and "Silent Hill" franchises. One of the themes will based on a short story by Kōbō Abe.
Previously, Kojima also did a bit of a reveal during a panel at Tokyo Game Show, although the information was scarce as always. "Death Stranding" was also announced during Sony's E3 press release and apparently it might utilize a game engine from Guerilla Games - or so the rumors say.
"Death Stranding" will be starring Norman Reedus as the main protagonist after the cancelled project of "Silent Hills." The game was supposed to be somewhat like a quasi-action game, but with new and different elements, according to Kojima. Rumors also say that a female protagonist will be accompanying Reedus's character in the game.
PSX will be opening on Saturday on Dec. 3 in Anaheim, California and hopefully we'll finally get to hear more about Kojima's next masterpiece.
