Persona 5 is one of the most anticipated RPG in 2016 and it has already reached gamers in Japan last September. But even with the early release for Japan, Atlus is holding back on its English language version by further pushing the release date to April 2017 instead of February.
More Delays Announced
Fans of the extremely popular JRPG series are in for another disappointment: Persona 5 for English language is pushed back further to April 2017. According to Polygon, the announcement was made during their live streaming event in Twitch where they cite additional improvement on localized dubbing based on Japanese release.
But Atlus is not going to get their fans disappointed further with the delay. Even though the delay for the game is a devastating news, Persona 5 in English language will be released with Japanese audio. The additional audio option will be available as DLC.
Impressive Review and Hype
To say that Persona 5 is hyped before its release is an understatement because of its loyal fan base. Aside from its massive popularity in Japan, it's worldwide following is also impressive as the game pushed more spin-offs not only for console but even for mobile gaming.
Fortunately for fans and those interested in picking up the game, initial review of the game according to Game Revolution is impressive. The review emphasizes that it is using the Japanese language version and the original audio has made the game a lot more intriguing.
Atlus also confirmed the exact date of release for Persona 5. The game will be available on April 4, 2017 and those who really want to show their loyalty to the game could purchase the premium edition for $89.99. The premium edition comes with additional freebies such as art book, collector's box, a morgana plush and the school bag used by students in the game.
