Hallyu star Yoona expressed her love and support for fellow Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon for her recent solo debut on Instagram.
Yoona looked very proud of Hyoyeon as they pose together for the camera in her recent Instagram post. Along with the photo is the caption which reads: "Mystery. #Hyoyeon unni's first solo track #Mystery #Pretty Cool Doing Well #Yongstagram."
On December 2, Hyoyeon released the upbeat and intense music video of her first solo track titled “Mystery” through the official YouTube page of SM Entertainment, Soompi reports. She also did a collaboration project with Jo Kwon of the boy group 2PM and Miss A’s Min for the song “Born to be Wild” in August last August.
Meanwhile, Yoona and actor Ji Chang Wook have been the topic of the news headlines lately after their hit TV drama series “The K2”. According to reports, the pair had continued their onscreen romance in real life. However, Ji denied the rumors in his recent interview with dongA on December 1.
"The dating rumors involving YoonA are not true.I just worked hard and, again, a lot of people came to misunderstand this time. So I thought, 'Again?' and just laughed. I've also talked to YoonA about these rumors and we just laughed it off,” said Ji as quoted by All Kpop.
He added: "I always try to be very considerate of the actress. I think good acting results when working together in a comfortable environment. And that also helps to increase the viewers' focus but that tends to lead to misunderstandings. I think that's what happened again this time. There isn't anything special between YoonA and me. It'll be perfect to describe us as close oppa-dongsaeng."
Yoona made her debut in the entertainment industry in August 2007 after joining Girls’ Generations. Recently, she was chosen to host the prestigious “2016 Women in Film Awards” on December 7 at the ARTNINE in Seoul.
