Kim Seolhyun, professionally known as Seolhyun, is rumoured to be joining the cast of reality variety show "Law of the Jungle." Rumours suggest that she might be joined by Seo Kang-joon. Read on for details.
According to All K Pop, unconfirmed reports about Seolhyun and Seo will participate in the show surfaced on Jan. 21. For those unfamiliar, "Law of the Jungle" is a reality documentary show wherein cast of celebrities head to remote areas habited by tribes and try to survive in the natural environment as they experience life in a different way. The SBS' show premiered in October 2011 and has aired four seasons to date. The show has some editions like women only.
The actors are yet to comment and confirm the rumours. Meanwhile, SBS issues a statement addressing the rumours and confirm that the actors are in talk to participate in the upcoming season of "Laws of the Jungle." The only complication that seems to be is the celebrities' hectic schedules.
"It is true that the production crew had a meeting with the two of them. However, the two are so busy that we are mediating over the schedule regarding their appearance. It is hard to say yet whether they are confirmed. We will notify you when everything is finally figured out at a later time," SBS said in the statement.
While they are still awaiting the Seolhyun and Seo's confirmation, the production crew is planning to begin the film at the end of January. It is said that the filming for the upcoming instalment will take place in East Timor. Seolhyun is member of K-pop group AOA and she has appeared on several reality shows like "Running Man," "Happy Together," and "2 Days & 1 Night." As for Seo, he can be seen in currently airing "Cheese in the Trap."
According to Wow Keren, Seo and Seolhyun will be joing by 2PM's Chansung, Infinite's Sungjong, B1A4's Sandeul and Korean actress Jeon Hye Bin. For the upcoming instalment, the "Laws of the Jungle" cast will be divided into two teams that will be arriving in East Timor separately. First team will begin filming in January, while the other one will reaching early February.
