Developer Gun Media has released yet another glimpse of a gameplay video for "Friday the 13th: The Game."
This time, we'll be able to see in the 39-second video that actor Thom Mathews is returning as Tommy Jarvis for the game, according to recent reports by Dualshockers.
Just a little information for those who don't know who he is: Tommy Jarvis is the male protagonist of "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter," "Friday the 13th: A New Beginning" and "Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives." The character has been portrayed by Corey Feldman, John Shepherd and Thom Mathews, respectively. Gun Media ultimately picked Thom Mathews for the role.
Based on earlier reports, players will be playing in a third-person perspective in a 1-vs.-7 type of match, where they fight or elude to survive as the camp counselors. There are a selection of 11 camp counselor characters for players to choose from survival horror game, each possessing their own unique characteristics and skill set.
Players also won't be having an easier time despite the numbers since the villain Jason Voorhees has the ability to sense his victims from far away and even to somehow "teleport" close to them from the shadows.
Community lead Ben Strauss also mentioned that the studio is aiming for Mature (M) rating for the game from the gore and violence, although they may be at risk in getting an Adults Only (AO) rating due to the possible nudity and sex scenes.
"We can get away with quite a bit of stuff to not get an AO," wrote Community Lead Ben Strauss. "Games like Far Cry 3, The Witcher 3, God of War and plenty of other games have a lot of gore, a lot of nudity and quite a bit of sex. We're confident we'll be right on target where we want to be at without fearing for an AO rating."
