Streaking clubs Memphis Grizzlies (17-8) and Cleveland Cavaliers (17-5) clash at the Quicken Loans Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 13 in a 2016-2017 NBA regular season encounter.

Memphis is on a roll right now with a six-game winning streak. They currently in solo fifth place in the stacked Western Conference with a 17-8 record.

The Grizzlies are coming off an incredible 110-89 blowout victory over West champions Golden State Warriors at their home court of FedExForum last Saturday, as per SB Nation.

Head coach David Fizdale's squad led by as much as 30 points in the game before finishing it with a convincing 21-point lead.

All five of the team's starters scored in double figures, led by Marc Gasol and Tony Allen who had 19 points each. Gasol also had eight rebounds, six assists, and two blocks while Allen also contributed four boards.

JaMychal Green had a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds while rookies Troy Williams and Andrew Harrison both fired 11 points in strong performances as starters.

Off the bench, Zach Randolph chipped in 14 points and seven boards while sophomore Jarell Martin had 13 points and seven rebounds as well.

Meanwhile, the Cavs are also streaking at the moment with a four-game winning run after losing their previous three assignments. The defending champs remain at the top of the East standings with the Toronto Raptors one game behind.

In their most recent game last Saturday, Cleveland defeated the Charlotte Hornets, 116-105, also at the Quicken Loans Arena, Cleveland.com reported.

LeBron James had an almost triple-double performance of 44 points, nine rebounds, and 10 assists with three steals and a shot block to lead head coach Tyronn Lue's boys.

Kevin Love backed him up with 22 points, six boards, and three steals while Tristan Thompson had 13 points and 12 rebounds. Kyrie Irving chipped in 11 points, four boards, and five assists.

Iman Shumpert fired 16 points, grabbed five rebounds, and dished off two assists playing off the bench.

Prediction

The Grizzlies have a 7-4 away record so far this season while the Cavs are almost unbeatable at home with an 11-2 slate. While both teams are hot right now and Memphis is certainly capable of pulling off an upset as they have shown against Golden State, Cleveland is still the predicted winner of this contest.
