Just recently, a blind item started circulating about a man who allegedly recorded himself while doing an act that is supposed to be done privately.
After the rumors came out, many speculations pointed Kim Min Suk as the man in the reported sex tape. However, the "Doctor Crush" actor immediately addressed the rumors and denied he was the person behind the controversial video, Soompi reported.
On Dec. 12, Kim took to his Instagram account to finally speak up about his alleged sex tape rumors. The actor said he has been receiving a lot of messages since the rumors broke out, asking if the rumors are true.
"People keep contacting me. What nude [cam]? They keep asking if I've ever filmed something strange like this. Do I have to sue? Who started such [an] unbelievable, baseless rumor like this?" Kim wrote.
He went on, "This world is really becoming crazy. I just came to eat cold buckwheat noodle soup with [INFINITE's] Sunggyu. I've never done anything like [film a nude video]."
The following day, Kim's agency, Woollim Entertainment, revealed the actor's plan against those who are linking him to sex tape rumors. The label supported Kim's stand and denied their actor was the one in the controversial video.
"Hello, this is Woollim Entertainment. We announce that the recent malicious rumors creating controversies have nothing to do with our artist Kim Min Suk," the label began the official dispatch as per Allkpop.
It continued, "Spreading malicious, false rumors on and offline is a crime, and it also leads to mental harm to the artist and his family, label, as well as supportive fans. With this in mind, we are going to be taking legal actions to protect our label's artist."
Woollim Entertainment also expressed their gratitude to the supporters of Kim and asked them to continue their love for the actor.
