"Once Upon a Time" alum Robbie Kay heads to Fox's significantly rejiggered "Sleepy Hollow." He joins its fourth season after some major changes that essentially constitute a soft reboot, with most of the cast having been revamped and the premise adjusted.
According to Deadline, Kay will play Logan MacDonald in "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. His character is a handsome Internet star loved by tween girls around the world, including Molly Thomas ("MasterChef Junior" Season 2 contestant Oona Jaffe), who is the daughter of the new series regular Diana Thomas ("True Blood" actress Janina Gavankar). He has accumulated a rather prominent and substantial internet following.
In the rebooted "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4, Ichabod (Tom Mison) will find himself relocated to Washington, D.C., TV Line reported. He will work there with Homeland Security agent Diana and a small team of researchers. Diana is a single mom to a bright and poised 10-year-old Molly.
As previously announced, "Days of Our Lives" actress Rachel Melvin, "Empire" actor Jerry MacKinnon, and "Lost" actor Jeremy Davies also have joined the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4 cast. On the other hand, the series regulars Jessica Camacho, Lance Gross, and Nikki Reed are no longer with the series.
It is not entirely clear as of yet what Robbie's character's larger role is going to be in the "Sleepy Hollow" Season 4. However, the series is not above doing something crazy like giving a character who pretends to be some sort of normal internet star only for them to end up being the spawn of some terrible demon.
Kay can play evil incredibly well as Peter Pan on ABC's "Once Upon A Time." He also co-starred as Tommy Clark on NBC's "Heroes Reborn" and next appears in the features "No Postage Necessary" and "Locating Silver Lake." He is represented by Paradigm and Affirmative Entertainment.
"Sleepy Hollow" is preparing to launch early next year with a dramatic creative overhaul.
