CL is coming back with a fresh CL new music video that is expected to show her unique music and sleek style. She's also working with a big name in the music industry.
The South Korean rapper is reportedly shooting a music video for the song "Superdope" with Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am. As per Koreaboo, CL new music video was filmed in Santa Monica, California on Dec. 14. In one scene, she is spotted sitting on a big motorcycle wearing a see-through top and oversized jacket. Fans suspect that the collaboration will be included in the Black Eyed Peas' upcoming 20th anniversary album.
The Baddest Female is also doing some teasing on Instagram where she posted two photos from CL new music video shoot. In the photos, CL is wearing a losse-fitting Givenchy tracksuit from the designer brand's Resort 2017 collection, Vogue reports.
CL entered Billboard's Hot 100 chart this year with "Lifted," her first full English-language solo track. It Is produced and written by YG Entertainment's very own Teddy. The fun and upbeat track samples the Wu-Tang Clan's 1993 hit "Method Man." The Wu-Tang Clan member himself makes a cameo appearance in CL's "Lifted" music video, which now has over 19 million views. The music video is directed by Dave Meyers.
As part of her US promotions, CL performed "Lifted" live on the Sept. 16 broadcast of "The Late Late Show with James Corden." Although the song is considered as CL's first US single, it is the singer's second musical effort since making her debut in the US. She first came out with "Hello Bitches" in 2015.
Despite efforts to catapult her to the center of the mainstream music industry in America, it is doubtful whether CL would reach the same heights achieved by PSY. Following the wild success of "Gangnam Style" PSY made appearances on American television programs such as "Todau Show," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and "Saturday Night Live."
