After the huge success of 2001 comedy film "My Sassy Girl," Cha Tae Hyun had the chance to work with co-star Jun Ji Hyun in an episode of "The Legend of the Blue Sea" after 15 years.
Cha Tae Hyun admitted he never expected he would meet the actress again after sharing the big screen for "My Sassy Girl." He said as per Soompi, "It had been a while since we were in the same shot for that long."
The actor continued, "I thought we would never be able to meet again since our impact in "My Sassy Girl" was so big, but we finally met after [15] years."
He added that he was glad his appearance on "The Legend of the Blue Sea" was not too short, giving him ample of time to share the scene with Jun Ji Hyun. "I was glad my part wasn't too small. Ji Hyun still has that aura of hers as an actress and I'm proud of her for that," Cha Tae Hyun said.
"Now we meet and show each other photos of our own children. It felt weird but good."
Cha Tae Hyun is currently working with Kim Yoo Jung for film "Because I Love You" which is set to hit the theaters on Jan. 4. However, Kim Yoo Jung was recently mired in controversy for allegedly misbehaving during a promotion, Allkpop reported.
In the midst of controversy involving his co-star, Cha Tae Hyun said he is worried Kim Yoo Jung might be hurt of the accusations. However, the actor also added it was wrong for the actress to cancel her scheduled interview after being criticized for her behavior.
"I don't know her number, so I can't contact her. I didn't ask for her information since she's in high school. We're having a "V" app broadcast on Wednesday for the movie. I'm worried she's feeling hurt," Cha Tae Hyun said.
