"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actress Kim Yoo Jung has been rushed to the emergency room for the second time this week. The 17-year-old actress was hospitalized on Dec. 26, Monday, after she started showing symptoms of shock brought on by increased levels of stress, according to her agency.
"Kim Yoo Jung showed signs of stress-induced shock in the evening of December 26, and was immediately rushed to the hospital," Sidus HQ said in a statement obtained by Soompi. "She is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, and we will need to make changes to her current schedule of movie promotions and end-of-the-year awards ceremonies."
This is the second time within a week that she has been admitted to the hospital. Last week, after attending a preview screening of her new film, "Because I Love You," the actress was hospitalized to receive treatment for a bad cold and over exhaustion, as All Kpop reported.
The "Because I Love You" preview screening was surrounded by controversy after angry netizens criticized Kim for her on-stage behavior at the event. Kim's posture and attitude before the media and fans rubbed several people the wrong way.
The actress was standing on stage along with her co-stars when she started leaning on one leg and appeared uninterested as she played with her hands and checked out her nails, paying no attention to her surroundings. Many fans took to social media to point out that not only was Kim's behavior unpleasant to watch, it was also very unprofessional and rude for her to behave in such a manner.
