South Korean boy group EXO sub-unit EXO-CBX has recently released the music video for their recent single “Crush U”.
In the music video released on the YouTube page of “plaync” on December 25, the trio, which is composed of Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin, showcased their powerful voices blended with the upbeat background music. Furthermore, it also exposed the beautiful semi-fantasy concept of the video wherein the boys went running after a mysterious furry cat which has a marked eye-patch at the left portion of its eye.
“Crush U” is the official soundtrack of the popular fantasy martial-arts multiplayer online role-playing game “Blade & Soul” developed by South Korea-based online, video and mobile game development company NCSOFT, All KPop reports. It was composed by renowned composer, record producer, singer and songwriter Yoon Sang.
Meanwhile, group member Chen was recently revealed to be one of the performers in the upcoming "2016 KBS Song Festival" which will be taking place on December 29. This was revealed by a representative from the TV network in December 26.
According to him, Chen will be performing together with singer Hwang Chi Yeol. CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa, on the other hand, who will also be part of the festival line-up, will have a duet with CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa.
“We’ve prepared performances for all those who have worked hard this year. Just watching these warm and beautiful stages will give strength to those who are weary,” the representative added as quoted by Soompi.
EXO-CBX is the first official sub-unit of EXO to be introduced to the public. The group debuted in the entertainment industry in October this year with their extended play ”Hey Mama!” which has already gained almost 32 million views on YouTube. It was followed by the single titled “The One” which is a special clip from “EXO PLANET #3 - The EXO’rDIUM”.
