Stephen Curry delivered a weak performance in the game against the Cavaliers, and coach Steve Kerr’s comment about his increasing role in the team, Curry insisted the Warriors should use more pick and roll in the offense.

In the training session after the game, Curry was asked about his role in the team in this season as reported by NBC Bay Area. In respond to the question, Curry said that he wanted to use more pick and roll to make play.

"Definitely want to be in more pick-and-roll situations," The two-time MVP said. "So that whether I'm getting shots or we're manufacturing ball movement.”

Pick and roll is the strength of the Warriors, according to him, regardless how their opponents play them. Curry also pointed that with Kevin Durant in the team, they have a very good balance. Since Klay Thompson and Draymond Green can focus on what they do best in the game.

Many analysts and fans have concern with his less scoring in the games, but coach Kerr said that he needs Curry to take more role in the team than just scoring. According to report by SF Gate, Kerr understands the concern from the fans.

Coach Kerr said that Curry is practically doing great this season. He still made around 40 percent shooting from behind the arc and he still averages 24.1 points per game. But since he came from the greatest shooting season in the history last year, his decision to make less shot become the hot topics.

Golden State Warriors have been playing great and still lead the winning records in the league with 27-5. However, the one point loss against Cleveland Cavaliers with 108-109 in the Christmas game has become the point of discussion. Especially, Curry only made 15 points and made only 2 out of 7 from behind the arc.
