Several days ago, BIGBANG fans expressed their outrage towards a certain Russian artist named Albina for her song "I Love You," which they claimed plagiarized Taeyang's "Eyes, Nose, Lips."

Soompi reported Albina caught the attention of the BIGBANG fans when she released her song "I Love You" on Dec. 28. "At first I was like "Oh, here we go. Another song people are trying to say someone copied!" But after actually listening to it, holy crap," a commenter said.

It continued, "It's literally the same song the moment the woman started singing without even attempting to sound different. I smell a lawsuit and a career ending before it even began."

The description of Albina's song stated that she was the songwriter and composer of "I Love You." Another factor that infuriated the BIGBANG fans was when the Russian artist reportedly called her followers VIPs in an Instagram post.

"Come on, the TRUE VIPs would definitely not take this one sitting down. Girl, you messed up with the wrong group and fandom," a BIGBANG fan wrote.

Reports stated the comments section under Albina's song was closed when the plagiarism accusation surfaced. Later on, "I Love You" was blocked from YouTube after YG Entertainment did their part.

However, Albina reportedly reuploaded the music video to their own version of YouTube called Rutube. On the other hand, the Russian singer has finally spoken up about the issue in an interview, Allkpop cited.

Albina denied she copied Taeyang's 2014 hit song, adding that she did not even know the K-Pop idol. The Russian singer also said that she has read the complaints from the BIGBANG fans over the issue.

"Of course I'm the writer of that song. This is a new feeling for me. And I think the court can decide whether the two songs are similar or not. And if someone thinks I'm wrong, then he sues me. After that, the court decides everything," Albina said.
