Following the solo debut of her fellow f(x) members Amber and Luna, KPop star Krystal is reportedly set to also pursue her solo career in the entertainment industry.
According to an exclusive report by Sports Donga, the 22-year-old singer and actress will be introducing herself as a solo artist any time in February this year. Upon her debut, Krystal will also be showing off her musical finesse through a mini-album which will be released in the same month.
However, the star’s talent management agency SM Entertainment has not yet given their confirmation regarding the issue. According to the label as quoted by Soompi: “Nothing has been decided in regards to Krystal’s solo album.”
f(x)’s Amber made her solo debut in the show business in 2015 with the single track “Beautiful”. Luna, on the other hand, pursued her solo career in May 2016 with the mini album “Free Somebody” which is composed of 6 songs namely “Breath”, “Keep On Going”, “Keep”, I Wish”, “Galaxy”, and “My Medicine”.
Krystal entered the world of entertainment in 2009 after joining f(x) alongside Victoria, Krystal, Amber, Luna, and the former member Sulli. Before being introduced to the public, the singer had first undergone 9 years of training with S.M. Entertainment together with her elder sister Jessica. Aside from her affiliation with her group, she also appeared in several TV drama series including “High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged”, “The Heirs”, and “My Lovely Girl” wherein she portrayed the character of Yoon Se Na, one of the lead stars in the series.
Meanwhile, Krystal’s sister Jessica has recently released the dance practice video of her latest single "Wonderland" in English version, All KPop reports. Released on the official YouTube page of Coridel Entertainment on December 29, the KPop idol showed off her sexy dance moves as well as her beautiful voice blended in the upbeat tune of the song.
