"The Elder Scrolls Online" really provided players the entire experience in traversing the lands of Tamriel with little to no restrictions it had in exploring the open world compared to its single player counterparts. However, it seemed to be missing one notable area from the "Elder Scrolls" lore and that is Vvardenfell Island from "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind." While Bethesda has yet to make a major announcement in regards to releasing an update adding the huge landmass, there is some evidence that the area exists in the game - somewhere in the data.

Datamining has been quite the hobby for passionate players such as Reddit user FloorBelow as he found the map of the area for Vvardenfell. While this may not be the first time hidden files for the area within the "The Elder Scrolls Online" have been found, the Reddit user discovered new titlesets in the style of Vivec, Telvanni, Hlaalu, and Dwemer ruins, among others from "Morrowind" lying around there.

"The whole area around Red Mountain appears inaccessible, though the northern ashlands around Urshilaku are, along with Molag Amur," Reddit user FloorBelow says. "Sheogorad looks to be heavily under construction, but that giant wall of rocks makes me think it may be inaccessible as well."

Even he was able to compare the area of Vvardenfell, claiming that this is huge in comparison to other areas like Wrothgar and Stonefalls.

"It's definitely going to be the biggest PvE zone in the game so far, even without Red Mountain being accessible," said the post. "My best guess is that it's going to be just under twice the size of Wrothgar."

Then again, these are all just speculations despite the datamining since Bethesda has yet to announce a major update that will include Vvardenfell. However, being a major area from a hit "Elder Scrolls" title, it shouldn't be far off especially since Bethesda has released a major update just recently. Gamespot did report that Vvardenfell's "distinctive environments and unique architecture" would make a major addition for the MMO.
