Former EXO members Kris, Tao and Luhan are making a new for themselves as they dominate year-end charts in their home country China. Tencent released their year-end entertainment charts, showing that Kris, Tao and Luhan were some of the biggest, most successful performers in 2016.
Kris, Luhan and Tao prove that there's life after EXO as they dominate the charts under various categories. Koreaboo reported that Kris and Luhan ranked first and fourth, respectively, in the "Fresh Meat" box office performance. Tao on the other hand was top 1 in the variety show performance category.
Kris Wu's "From Now On' and "July" was in first and second place in the "Top 10 Hottest Songs of 2016" category. Luhan's "Catch Me When I Fall" was fourth place.
Under the "Hottest Singers" category, Luhan ranked second, followed by Kris in third. Tao rounded up the list in 10th place. As for "Hottest Celebrities," Luhan was in third place while Kris was in fourth. Kris and Luhan were also listed as one of the most commercial valuable celebrities.
Among the three, Kris has made the most milestones ever since he departed from SM Entertainment and EXO. For one, he will star in "xXx: Return of Xander Cage" together with Vin Diesel.
Nicks is one of the younger members on Xander's team, but he's not someone you can easily mess with. He's good with guns and has awesome fighting skills. Kris also offers his new track, "The Juice," as part of the movie's official soundtrack.
As per The Wrap, Kris has also been cast in Luc Besson's "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets," which also stars Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevingne, Rihanna, Clive Owen and Ethan Hawke. Kris is playing Captain Neza, which Besson describes as "the best captain in the galaxy."
