The makers of "Housefull 3" are preparing to release the third installment of the franchise, despite the death of a core actor, Jiah Khan, in June 2013. Although much about the details of the movie are not yet known, the first look of the film is already out.
The released "Housefull 3" movie poster features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Lisa Haydon, Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri and Jacqueline Fernandez leaning against a wooden fence alongside a green background, Fashion & Style reported.
Although not much is known about the storyline and the characters of the film, Kumar, who gets to play the major character, will be playing an individual suffering from multiple-personality disorder. His condition will set off chaos in the film, making it a confusion driven romantic film.
According to Catch News, however, Kumar thinks that he may lose all respect he earned due to "Airlift," another franchise where he was featured. In an interview with Hollywood Hungama, Kumar expressed his sentiments, saying that he hopes one day comedians get their due, since slapstick comedy is a tough and powerful film-making genre.
With the release of the "Housefull 3" expected on June 3, 2016, Kumar feels that it will set a new benchmark in the genre of comedy. The movie's director will be Sajid-Farhad and its producer will be Sajid Nadiadwala.
According to an insider, when Farhad and Nadiadwala presented the "H3" script to Riteish, he did not object but immediately accepted it, referring it as a hilarious script. Besides sharing a good working relationship with producer Nadiadwala, he is also looking forward to working with Abhishek again after their collaboration in "Bluffmaster."
A source in the film disclosed that the film directors and producer were hesitant about approaching Deshmukh for the first time, since he was a close friend of Khan; however, the actor reportedly does not allow personal life to come in the way of work.
Khan committed suicide in her Juhu apartment on the grounds of a relationship gone wrong. As credible reports disclose, her mother found a six-page letter blaming her lover Sooraj Pancholi. However, forensic reports revealed that her blood had a certain amount of alcohol before she hanged herself on the night of June 3, 2013.
