Lucy Liu plans on making 'Kung Fu Panda 3' a 'legacy' for son

According to the latest buzz, Lucy Liu is eager to see her son watch "Kung Fu Panda 3," and even wants it to be a "legacy" for him.

The 47-year-old actress was discussing the forthcoming animated film during the "Today Show" on Tuesday when she made her remarks about her son. She said that animated films meant much to her when she was growing up, and now that she was a part of it, she believed it was magical especially understanding what goes behind dong an animation.

Liu voices Viper in the "Kung Fu Panda" franchise, and looks forward sharing the movies with Rockwell(her son) when he gets older. As Liu continued to voice her feelings, she asserted that she felt grateful that her son was going to have that (Kung Fu Panda).

She also added that it would be her legacy for him when he got older and when he could watch and enjoy them. "I don't even know if he'll know it's my voice necessarily, and hopefully, he won't. He'll just kind of fall into it." She said at the show.

Liu welcomed Rockwell via surrogate in August last year and has often posted photos of him on social media. She referred motherhood as "miracle and a dream" owing to the fact that she found everything different every day. While Rockwell is adapting to his mum's schedule, her mother revealed that he has a schedule himself and that the mother-son-pair love reading most of the times.

Since welcoming Rockwell, who is now 5-months old, the elementary star admits that she has slowed down and travelled less. According to Hello magazine, she claimed that it helped her to stabilize because her career was not stable at all.

Liu was last seen with Kate Hudson at AOL studios on Jan 26, in New York City as they sat down to discuss their new film, Just Jared reported.

"Kung Fu Panda 3" was scheduled to hit theatres on Jan. 29 and co-stars Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Bryan Cranston, Jack Black and Hudson. The first two films of the franchise opened in 2008 and 2011 respectively, and earned a total of $1.8 billion at the box office.
