Sandara Park of 2NE1 and Kwon Ji-yong, better known as G-Dragon of Big Bang, were recently selected as the new faces of Moonshot.
As the models of the Korean cosmetic brand Moonshot, Park and G-Dragon will have an agenda-packed schedule. Park will appear first in the new spring collection of Moonshot, while G-Dragon will endorse the men's line.
By signing up the two leading K-pop artists, Moonshot hopes to "increase and consolidate" its appeal as a global makeup brand, Koogle TV quoted a company representative.
G-Dragon is a South Korean rapper who attracted much attention with his Chanel suit and a big Russian fur cap at the Chanel couture show in Paris. He was singled out by Vogue as the showstopping "best dressed man" during the event. Fellow Moonshot model Park is likewise known for her wearably cool outfits.
During her recent visit to the Philippines as Penshoppe ambassador, Park stated in her interviews that skinny jeans and sneakers are among her favorite things to wear.
Park can rock a sweet, feminine attire, a trendy country club-inspired ensemble, or a seductive and mature look, as shown in W Korea's November issue. In that fashion shoot, she modeled the elegant goth 2015 Fall/Winter creations of Givenchy.
For 2NE1 concerts, Park has worn a vast assortment of figure-flattering outfits. During the "YG Family World Tour: Power" concert leg in Shanghai, the k-pop princess wore a designer studded panel dress coordinated with strappy heels.
Park can look lovely in super-shiny material with boots and a sexy mesh top, or in colorful outfits with oversized coats.
Park's social media posts also showcase how she has become one of the favorite k-pop artists of global brands that include Fendi. She has gotten nice gifts ranging from a mini Fendi bag to pompom fox-fur bag charm from the Italian luxury fashion house.
Last year, Park joined the list of individuals in New York magazine The Cut's Best Street Style. She donned a fierce yet chic look, consisting of a black leather cape with panels coordinated with a layered sheer skirt strewn with white cross prints and black booties for Givenchy's show.
