"Scorpion" season 2, episode 16 will see Walter (Elyes Gabel) and Toby (Eddie Kaye Thomas) going to couples counseling.
Team Scorpion will also team up for another mission that involves a pinched line gas.
Here's a look at the episode's synopsis: "After a powerful earthquake rocks Los Angeles, Team Scorpion must fix a pinched gas line to prevent a massive explosion, on SCORPION, Monday, Feb. 8 on the CBS Television Network. Penn Jillette guest stars as Toby and Walter's couples counselor."
Meanwhile, according to Cartermatt, the idea of seeing Walter and Toby at couples counseling seems quite hilarious.
"Both are incredibly strong-willed, and we don't picture either of them necessarily being all that interested in listening to what someone else has to say," the publication noted.
Although the reason behind their decision to attend couples counseling hasn't been revealed, there are speculations that this may have something to with Walter's inability to connect with any woman and Toby's feelings for Happy (Jadyn Wong).
In the previous episode, Walter went on speed dating and was lucky enough to find a woman to go out on a date with.
However, as it turned out, the woman's life was at risk so their relationship didn't progress. It's also obvious that Walter and Paige (Katharine McPhee) have feelings for each other, but the duo previously agreed to stay only as friends.
As for Toby and Happy, it's also obvious that the two has feelings for each other. However, no one wants to take the risk and ask the other one out.
There was one instance wherein Toby risked his life to save Happy, and another instance when Happy spoke with another character about giving importance to people around her. At that time, Happy looked at Toby, and it somehow symbolized that the two really have feelings for each other.
