Shonda Rhimes, the prolific producer behind "Grey's Anatomy" and "How to Get Away With Murder," has another TV show lined up on ABC.

According to Deadline, the network has greenlit the pilot of Rhimes' new legal drama written by Scandal writer/producer Paul William Davies. The untitled project is also being executive produced by Shondaland's Betsy Beers. There's no word yet on casting and the start of production.

Set in the Southern District of New York (SDNY) Federal Court, aka "The Mother Court," the legal drama follows brand new lawyers working for both the defense and the prosecution as they handle the most high profile and high stakes cases in the country - all as their personal lives intersect.

To date, Shonda Rhimes has four TV shows on ABC's primetime programming slate: "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal," "How To Get Away With Murder" and "The Catch." She also has an upcoming period drama titled "Still Star-Crossed," starring Reign actor Torrance Coombs. It will debut midseason on ABC.

The untitled legal drama will mark as Rhimes' fifth show on the network should it get a series order in the coming months.

Rhimes is not new to the legal drama genre. "How to Get Away With Murder," which stars Viola Davis, is also a legal drama that was able establish a large amount of audience due to the show's gripping storylines and diverse characters. Davis won an Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actress for her portrayal of Atty. Annalise Keating in 2015.

In Hollywood, Rhimes is considered one of the most reputable showrunner and creator. She ranks alongside Ryan Murphy who also delivers top-rated TV shows including "American Horror Story," "American Crime Story," and "Glee."

Rhimes' other credits include "Private Practice" and "The Princess Diaries 2: The Royal Engagement."

ABC will air new episodes of "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal" and "How To Get Away With Murder" beginning on Thursday, Jan. 26th.
