Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo-Wurtzbach recently shared her thoughts on the pressing issue of cyberbullying.

According to PEP.ph, Wurtzbach revealed that she's looking into organizations that she can team up with that may help put an end to cyberbullying.

However, even though she hasn't been successful yet at finding an organization, the beauty queen said that just talking about it is already doing wonders for the issue.

"I am trying to be a good example by constantly reminding everybody not to bash other people or to react," she said.

Wurtzbach herself experienced cyber bullying after she was crowned as the newest Miss Universe.

At that time, fans of her runner up Miss Colombia bashed her online by saying that their bet was the one who should've won.

Things went a little off hand with Miss Germany after Wurtzbach's fans bashed her online because she showed support for another candidate.

At that time, Wurtzbach called the attention of her fans by saying that they shouldn't bash anyone online just because they want to show her how loyal they are to her, according to Yahoo.

"Even to Filipinos, I hope they will not react to bashers online. There is no need to respond. You don't have to necessarily react. I mean, yeah, it's cyberbullying because they were cyberbullying me. But then it's also considered bullying if everybody flocks to attack the person," she said.

Meanwhile, Wurtzbach recently left the Philippines after a week-long stay to return to the United States.

While there, one of Wurtzbach's gigs will be to act as a correspondent for Super Bowl 50.

"I am very excited. I think it's a great compliment. I see it as a compliment because they would not trust me with a microphone if they didn't think I could do well or speak well," she said.

Wurtzbach added that the opportunity will also give her the chance to introduce herself not only as Miss Universe 2015, but also as a representative of the Filipinos and the Philippines.

Super Bowl 50 will take place on Feb. 7 in Santa Clara, California. Thousands, if not millions of athletes, celebrities, musicians and other guests are also expected to be present at the venue.
