Finn Bálor is currently recovering from an injury he sustained in SummerSlam against Seth Rollins but the former Universal champion dropped possible hints on his Twitter that he might show up in "WWE Royal Rumble".
Bálor initially tweeted his thanks to his doctor, but then a fan followed up and asked about his chances showing up on "Royal Rumble" this Sunday. He responded with a tweet saying "30-1." The tweets have been taken down since then and are no longer available, as per Comicbook.
The Demon King hasn't been seen in WWE TV since August. Rollins used a turnbuckle power bomb to Bálor and the latter suffered a serious shoulder injury as a result. After Bálor got injured in his match for the "WWE Universal Championship," he tweeted about the full extent of his injuries such as torn bicep and pectoral tendon, cartilage damage, fracture to the glenoid neck socket and a 180° labrum tear.
Initially, his injuries were said to take at least 4 months for him to completely recover, but further examination showed his recovery should be extended up to 6 months. Bálor's return to the ring is said to be not earlier than February, so at this point, his chances for a possible debut in "Royal Rumble" anytime soon is still slim to none.
However, his deleted tweets do show that there is a possibility for him to show up in "Royal Rumble." If this was a case of Bálor simply teasing the fans, his tweets might still be up there, according to Sportskeeda.
The last time fans have seen Bálor is during a game of musical chairs at an indie wrestling event in Birmingham last Jan. 18. The "Royal Rumble" will take place this Sunday, and fans can only hope the Demon King might show up there in the future.
